Our first day and our first project.
We were told that we had to design and build a machine that could draw. No specific instructions were provided. Material available included paper cups and plates, chop sticks, electric motors batteries, markers, etc.
We tried out different ideas and were encouraged by the teacher to be willing to quickly try new ideas if our first one didn't work. We were also encouraged to consider whether we needed to go back to the beginning or just modify our ideas. When we reached a problem, our main focus questions were "What's (not) happening?", "Why?", and "What would be a possible next step?".
We documented the process by taking notes and pictures to be used in our individual blogs.
